Tom passed peacefully from this life on Saturday 4th October 2025, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Galway Hospice and surrounded by his loving family.

Tom will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Barry, Kevin, Clodagh, Darren and Amy, his daughter-in-law, Niamh, son-in-law Gary, Kevin's partner Michelle, Darren's partner Eugenia and Amy's partner Cathal and his grandchildren Seán, Oisín, Odhrán, Hannah, Rían and Dáire. Tom will be deeply mourned by his brothers Seamus and Mikey and his sisters Margaret, Brid and Carmel, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his dear friend Teresa, his nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, his neighbours and his many friends and former colleagues in Big-O Taxis.

Tom will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Tuesday 7th October from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral cortége will arrive at The Church of the Nativity, Kilchreest (H62 E7DC) at 11.45am on Wednesday 8th October for Requiem Mass for Tom at 12noon. Burial will take place after Mass in the new cemetery Kilchreest.
