DOWNEY Tom (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Cromwellsfort Road, Crumlin, Dublin) March 5th, 2026, (peacefully) at his home and surrounded by his family, Tom, beloved husband of the late Anne, cherished father of Suzanne, Regina, Thérèse, Aoife and his beloved late Michelle, devoted grandfather of Rachel, Caoimhe, Sophie, Jamie, Lauren, Ella, Zoe, Thomas, Jack, Leah and Aidan, dear brother of Rita, Liam and the late Seamus, Maedb, Fintan and Thérèse and father-in-law to Patrick, Paul, Ian and Andrew. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends R.I.P.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on (Monday) afternoon arriving for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
