Tom GARVIN

GARVIN, Tom (Dundrum and former Author and Professor of Politics, U.C.D.) 17th October 2024 (peacefully) after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff in Newtown Park House Nursing Home. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his wife Máire, daughters Cliona and Anna, son John, sons-in-law Tony and John, daughter-in-law Liz, grandchildren Stephen, Chris, Rosie, Seán, Sarah, Daniel and Lara, brother John, sister Catriona, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Saturday afternoon (19th October) from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning (21st October) to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Alzheimers Association, Ireland.
