The death has occurred of
TOM KENNEDY
TOM KENNEDY (Youghal, Co. Cork & ex Pfizer Ringaskiddy), passed away peacefully at Marymount hospice after an illness he fought with bravery, in the tender presence of his family on the 16th of October 2025.
Loving husband of Mary, beloved father to Emma, Jack and Michelle (recently passed away) may they be reunited. Irish grandad to Nina, Mateo, Blake and Archie. Father-in-law to Mel and Agatha.
Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Avid birdwatcher who won “Highly Commended” in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018, keen Flickr member with loyal followers.
His love and appreciation of nature and reading provided huge comfort to him during his illness.
Tom’s family would like to sincerely thank all the staff from Marymount who safeguarded his dignity and loved him until the end.
The family are forever comforted by your care.
Tom and Michelle may your souls rise together, free and whole, forever joined in spirit.
Funeral Service at The Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy at 11am on Monday October 20th.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Marymount would be appreciated.
