Tom Looney

Tom Looney, The Island, Kiskeam, passed away peacefully on November 4th 2025 after a short illness at Cork University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his parents Pa and Kitty, sister Joan Clifford (Massena, New York) and nephew Danny Murphy.

 

Sadly missed by his dear sister Margaret (Peg) Murphy, nephews Eugene and Patrick Murphy and Patrick Clifford (USA), nieces Joan, Catherine, Anne and Margie Murphy, grandnephews Adam, Ronán and Manus, grandnieces Sammy, Molly and Sarah, his many relatives in Ireland and abroad, his close friends Dora, Neil and Andrew and his kind neighbours.

 

May He Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Casey’s Funeral Home, Kiskeam on Thursday (November 6th) from 5.30pm to 7pm, followed by Removal to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Taur.

 

Requiem Mass on Friday (November 7th) at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Tom’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed and may be viewed on the Newmarket and Taur Parish Facebook page.
