Tom McElroy

The death has occurred of Tom McElroy, Gola, Scotstown, Co Monaghan, Monday 30th December, peacefully surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Eileen, his son Colm, his brothers Pat and Michael-John (died in infancy) and his sisters Marie & Eilish.

 

Tom will be forever loved and cherished by his sons, Francis (Pauline), Martin (Carmel), Sean (Mary) and his daughter Mary (Declan). Tom's treasured grandchildren Peter, Fergal, Niamh, Gráinne, Kieran, Darragh & Louise, will always hold the fond memories they have of him, he will be forever remembered by his brother Francie (Bridget) and his sister Margaret Murray, his sister-in-law Joan, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Tom will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Monaghan Town, (H18YF22) on Tuesday (31st) from 4pm until 9pm and on Wednesday (1st) from 3pm until 6pm.Tom's funeral procession will arrive to St Marys Church, Urbleshanny on Thursday morning (2nd) for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Tydavnet Parish RC Churches facebook page.
