On Monday June 23, 2025, Tom died peacefully with his wife by his side, in the excellent care of the staff at An Teaghlach Uíleann nursing home Moycullen and his family, following a long illness.

Beloved husband of Deirdre (née Manning), devoted father to John, William and Emer and a dearly loved father-in-law, grandfather and brother.

Deeply mourned by his wife and children, daughter-in-law Tina and by his adored grand daughter Ivana. Tom will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Mary, Michael, Liam, Helena-Deirdre, Finbarr, Nollaig, Noel and Joe. Predeceased by his parents Billy and Sheila and brother Gerard. Fondly remembered by the extended Murphy and Manning family, colleagues and friends.

Reposing at the 'Cillín' within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna, from 5.00 p.m. Removal into the Church at 6 p.m.

Friday, June 27, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tom at 12 noon and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Furbo cemetery. Live streaming link for Mass https://www.churchtv.ie/barna/

Mass is also broadcast on radio at 106.6 FM in the Barna area.
