Tom RUSSELL

RUSSELL, Tom (Athens, Greece and formerly of Macroom, Co. Cork). Retired diplomat and ambassador, Department of Foreign Affairs. 14 March 2024 (peacefully) after a short illness on the island of Syros. Dearly missed by his sons Arthur and Alexander, their mother Kiki, his daughter-in-law Rashida, his sister Sheila Carroll (Galway) and brother John (England), nieces, relatives, and his many friends in the Irish community in Greece.

Funeral Mass will take place in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Psychiko, Athens, at 10.30am on Friday, 22 March, followed by cremation.
