Tom (Thomas) McDermott, Ashfield Green, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Ballymaglancy, Castleplunket, Co Roscommon. 21st May 2025. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his devoted children David, Thomas, Michelle and Brian, following a short but bravely fought battle with a serious illness. Survived by his wife Imelda, Tom is predeceased by his parents John and Teresa, brothers Eddie and Patsy, sisters Francie and Mary. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother Jackie, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, partners, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many close friends in the golfing community in Drogheda.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Friday evening from 5pm until 7:30pm.

Proceeding from his home on Sunday to Church of The Assumption, Tullyallen for funeral Mass at 2pm.

Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
