The death has occurred of
Tom (Thomas) O'Donovan
The death has taken place of Tom (Thomas) O'Donovan, Castlepark Avenue, Mallow and formerly of the Military Police and the 13th Infantry Battalion (PDF), who passed away peacefully on August 31st 2023, after a brief illness, in the presence of his loving family at the Bons Secours Hospital, Cork, devoted husband to Delia (nee O'Shea), much adored father of Jacqueline (Aherne), Adrian, Tomás and Ber (Collins) and brother of the late Frances, Willie, Hannah (Alexander), Mary (O'Neill) and Timmy and brother-in-law of the late Rita. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Biddy (Jackson), brothers John and Joe, brother-in-law Finbarr, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Ann, and Tina, sons-in-law Kevin and Jamie, daughters-in-law Bríd and Elaine, adoring grandad to Jack, Adam, Shane, Eva, Tommy, Maia Rose, Rachel, Clodagh and Sarah, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow, (P51 HH61) on Friday (September 1st) from 6pm with Prayers at 7.30pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (September 2nd) at 11am which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow .
Tom's Cremation Service will take place at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork at 4pm and may be viewed on www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/.
Tom's family would like to thank Dr. Brian Bird and all his staff at the Bons Secours Hospital and Professor O'Brien and his team at Marymount University Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to Tom and his family during his illness.
A special thank you to Dr. Andrew Clare and the doctors and staff at the Cork Road Clinic, Mallow.
