The death has occurred of
Tomás MacGIOLLA
At Beaumont Hospital. Former T.D., Lord Mayor of Dublin 1993/1994 and City Councillor, President Sinn Féin/Workers Part 1962-1988, member of Ard Comhairle until his death,greatly admired and respected, loyal follower of Tone and Connolly. Deeply regretted by his wife Máire, sister Evelyn, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, comrades and friends in the Workers Party and numerous friends in Ireland and internationally.
He will lie in state in Ballyfermot Civic Community Centre from 3pm on Saturday, 6th February until 8 o'clock, and from 8.30am until 4pm on Sunday. Funeral on Monday, following a Ceremony of tribute at 12.30 o'c in the Ballyfermot Civic Community Centre. Burial will follow at Palmerstown Cemetery.
