It is with the greatest sorrow that the Walsh family announce the death of Tomás, a beloved husband and father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend and colleague who died suddenly, aged 43 years, on Friday afternoon of the 18th March in Kinvara town, while out pursuing his favourite sport of cycling. Tom is survived by his heartbroken wife Trina, his adored children, daughter Sarah-Jane and son Cian, also by his father P.J., his brother Padraig (Porridgetown, Oughterard) and sister Aileen (Gort). He will be sorely missed by his sorrowing parents-in-law Michael and Ann O’Neill (Castletaylor, Ardrahan), his sisters-in-law Winifred Dempsey, Ann Gilbourne, Patricia McCarthy, Tara Walsh and Sinead Collins, brother in law Eugene O’Neill, his uncles John, Tom, Jim and Michael, aunts Leone and Mary, uncles in law and aunts in law, nephews, nieces, his many Walsh and Swanick cousins, also his friends in the local community, his sport clubs and his colleagues in Medtronic, Parkmore Facility, Galway

House Private please
His remains will lie in repose in the Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara, on Monday 21st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Private removal on Tuesday morning from his residence, for his family only. The cortege will depart from his parents' house on the Quay, Kinvara, at 11.40 a.m. and proceed to St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara, for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Mount Cross Cemetery where Tomás will be laid to rest beside his recently deceased mother Mary, to resume their special bond in death, as we witnessed in life.
