Tommie Claffey

Tommie Claffey, Cartron House, Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Galway Hospice on 10th April 2025, following a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, Joe and Vera.

Tommie will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Mary, daughter Sandra, sons Joe and Paul, and his adored granddaughter Isla. He will be deeply missed by his brothers John, Bertie, and Pat, sisters Mary and Veronica, son-in-law Neel, daughter-in-law Lucy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbors, and many friends.

Reposing at Cappataggle Community Centre (Eircode: H53 E685) on Saturday, 12th April, from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Cappataggle Church on Sunday, 13th April, at 1pm, followed by burial in Killalaghton Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
