Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Peg, brother Jackie, sisters Marilyn and Rhona (Danaher), nephew Jack. Deeply regretted by his adoring wife Mai (née Griffin), daughters Anne and Marilyn, son John, grandchildren Bill, Katie, John, David and Anne, great-grand-daughter Lily, son-in-law Gerry, daughter-in-law Jeannette, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday 7th December from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Monday 8th December at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Holycross Abbey Cemetery.
