The death has occurred of
Tommy (Dickie) Smith
Tommy (Dickie) Smith, 8 Fairview, Cavan. January 23rd 2023 peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Rosaleen and devoted Father of Sandra, Thomas, Jimmy and Lorraine. Tommy will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, daughter in law, Sharon, adored grandchildren Rebecca, Charlie, Alanna, Jack, Thomas, Paul Adrian, Kara and Kalum, his great-grandchildren Oscar, Amber, Sienna, Oliver, Molly, Bobby and Nancie, brother Gene, Ballyconnell, nephews, nieces, all his family circle, neighbours, and many, many friends.

Reposing at his home in Fairview (H12 X252) on Tuesday evening from 2pm until 8pm. Please be mindful that Covid 19 is still very much with us and to exercise care and keep each other safe. Removal leaving the house on Wednesday morning at 10.30am and travelling to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass the cortege will travel to Cullies Cemetery for committal prayers and burial in the family plot.
No flowers please, donations in lieu would be appreciated to the oncology unit, Cavan and Palliative care, Cavan in care of McMahon Funeral Directors, any family member or donation box in the Cathedral. House private to family on Wednesday morning, please.
