Tommy Grimes

Fr. Mc Cullen Park, Kells, Meath

The peaceful death has taken place in St. Francis's Hospice, Blanchardstown, in the loving care of his family and staff of St. Francis'. Tommy Grimes former Chairman of Kells Town Council and outstanding public representative of the community of Kells. Tommy's death has shocked the Kells Community and the wider community and his absence will be greatly felt by one and all. 

 

Tommy will repose at his home tomorrow, Wednesday, 23rd March, from 4.30pm until 10pm, removal from residence on Thursday, 24th March, at 12 noon to arrive at St. Colmcilles Church, Kells for Funeral Liturgy at 12.30pm, followed by burial in St.Colmcille's Cemetery.

 

House private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis' Hospice Blanchardstown C/O Brian Curran Funeral Director.

 

Tommy is survived by his heart broken wife Ann, his daughters Helen, Gillian, Laura, son Alan, sister Lil, Rosemary, Patricia, Jane, Phil and Ann, brother Christy, grandchildren Ceaillaigh, Evan, Sophia, Jack, Caitlin, Larragh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces and a very large circle of family and friends. Tommy is predeceased by his parents Tommy and Mary and his brother Pa.

 

As we remember our dear friend Tommy with deep affection and respect we are grateful for his memory and friendship, he was Friend and Brother to one and all.
