In the early hours of Thursday, 19 February, Tommy completed his life’s journey in the loving care of his family and following the excellent care from the staff at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved son Mike, sister Rena, cousin Noel and by his parents.
Tommy is deeply mourned by his dearly loved wife Margaret (née Glynn), of 60 years, their anniversary just celebrated last week on the 5th of February, by his cherished daughters Susan and Lorena, daughter-in-law Grace, son-in-law Matt, grandchildren, sisters Mary and Helen, the extended Hynes and Glynn family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Friday, 20th February 2026 Tommy will lie in Repose at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 K8) from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. There will be no Removal to the Claddagh Church this evening.
Saturday, 21st February 2026 Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tommy at 11 .30 a.m. on arrival at St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh. Following Mass, Tommy will be laid to rest in Forthill cemetery. Livestream Link for Mass: https://www.dominicanscladdagh.ie/live-webcam/

Car Parks close by: The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
It’s best to arrive a little early for parking at the Claddagh Church on Saturday, as the public car park can fill quickly.
