Tommy (Thomas) (Esso) WALKER

Tommy (Thomas)(Esso) Walker (former Carlow Sugar Factory Employee) of 28 Idrone Park, Tullow Rd, Carlow and formerly of Rathengraney, Clonegal, Co Wicklow, passed away, on February 9th, 2026 at Signature Care Nursing Home, Killerig, Co Carlow.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved father of Margaret, Mary, Paul and Patricia and adored grandfather of Stephanie, Adam, Kim, Jodie, Nikole, Sophie, Bethany, Sam, Josh and Becky.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Sharon, sons-in-law Colm, Enda and David, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Tommy’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Tommy will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Monday February 16th from 2pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Tuesday morning at 10.45am to The Holy Family Church, Askea arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilquiggin Cemetery, Shillelagh, Co Wicklow.

The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Signacare Nursing Home, Killerig, for the kindness, care, and compassion shown to Tommy throughout his illness, and to the Ambulance Service team who attended to him in his final moments. Their dedication, support, and professionalism are deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.
