TWOMEY (Cork) On 29th January 2026, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, TOMMY, Templeacre Avenue, Gurranabraher and late of Fords and Twomey’s Shop, Coal Quay. Dearly beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Harris), much adored father of Sandra, Vivienne, Joanne and Joy, loving grandfather of his 9 grandchildren and great grandchild, and dearest brother of Teresa, Pierce, Brenda and the late Noel and Philip.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Sunday (1st February) from 2.00pm, family in attendance at 5.00pm with Prayers at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (2nd February) at 10.00am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.

The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Tommy by all of the staff at Heather House.
