Tony (Anthony) Rooney

ROONEY, Tony (Anthony) (Hartstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Aughrim Street) November 19th, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family, after a short illness, at the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Trish, much loved father of Clair, cherished grandfather of Juliette and Myles and father-in-law of Martyn and predeceased by his brother Christy. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, brother Sean, sisters Geraldine and Angela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Wednesday (22nd November) from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Removal to St. Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown on Thursday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium at approx. 1pm.
