Tony Britton
The death has taken place of Tony Britton, Church View, Mallow (Shoe Repair) who passed away peacefully on December 10th 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of Nancy and Eily (ICS) and also Rose (HSE Carer), beloved husband of Bridget (née O'Sullivan, Ardpatrick), dear father of Pat and Claire (O'Donoghue) and son of the late Tommy and Nellie Britton, Waters Place. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, brother Frankie, sisters Noelie (O'Keeffe) and Ann, daughter-in-law Orla, son-in-law Alan, adored grandchildren Eimear, Padraig, Amy, Tomás, Dara and Clodagh, brothers-in-law Dermot, Patrick and John, sisters-in-law Sheila and Dolly, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Tuesday (December 12th) from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by Removal to the Church of the Resurrection.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday (December 13th) at 2.30pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
The family would like to thank the HSE staff, ICS staff, Marymount and Dr. Marian Donovan for the outstanding care shown to Tony.
