The death has occurred of
Tony Brophy
Tony Brophy, Drumcondra, Dublin and Bealady, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, December 29th 2017. Peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, ex An Garda Síochána, predeceased by his wife Catherine. Beloved father of Michelle and Colm and grandfather of Jamie. Sadly mourned by his brothers and sisters, Phyllis, Elsie, Ted, Declan and Gay, sister-in-law Elaine, brothers-in-law Adrian, Eddie, David and Billy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and all his former colleagues.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Monday evening from 2pm with funeral prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney at 12 noon followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.
Family flowers only by request, donations can be made at Tony's funeral to the Peter McVerry Trust.
