The death has occurred of
TONY FITZGERALD
Fitzgerald (Connolly Road, Ballyphehane) On August 20th 2023, in the tender and loving care of Dr Vitaly and his team, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital, TONY (Former President of the Football Association of Ireland, FAI) beloved son of the late Timothy and Mary (née Archer), dear brother of Kathleen (Daly), Noreen, Breda (Milway), Pat (Murphy), Margaret (Callnan) and the late Sadie (Martin), Michael, Teresa (Russell) and Chrissie (O’Callaghan), nephew of the late Peggy Archer. Deeply mourned by his loving family, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives, cousins Ann Archer and Patsy, his dear friend Ursula and a wide circle of friends at home and abroad.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Wednesday (23rd) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (24th) at 11.00am at the Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane which may be viewed on HERE. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
