Tony Gilmore

Tony passed away peacefully on Wednesday 9 October 2024, in the care of the staff at Moycullen Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Teresa and much loved father of Paul, Damian and Alan.

 

Predeceased by his sisters Gráinne and the recently deceased Maureen. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Carmel, Mika and Naomi, brother Gay (Australia), his adored grandchildren Amy, Dara, Ella, Aisling, Catriona and Kiara. Tony will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, the extended Gilmore and Fahy family, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at St. Pio's Room within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway on Monday, 14 October, from 4.30 p.m. followed by removal into the Church at 6.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tony at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 15 October. Private cremation to follow.
