Tony, beloved husband of Úna, proud father of Aislinn and Pascal; grandfather to Arlo, Auryn and Senan. Son of Roy and the late Anne, and brother to Jeff, Kate, Richard and Denise.
His extended family of brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, all his relatives, those he had special relationships with, and his circle of friends from far flung places including Morocco, Algeria, Liverpool, Belfast, France and the UK – mourn his loss deeply.
Tony had a wide ranging academic career as an ethnomusicologist moving into media studies for the past many and happy years at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, where he counted colleagues as friends.
