Tony Loughrey-Grant

The death has occurred of

Tony Loughrey-Grant

Dublin

Tony Loughrey-Grant (26th September 1983 to 10th April 2016).  The most beautiful soul, passed away suddenly in the UK. He was running around a field, paintballing at the time, in the company of his girlfriend, Millary and dear friends.

His family, known as the Clan, share a very strong connection and Tony, had the biggest heart of us all - he was adored by us all. Tony's mum, Madeleine, his twin brother Des, his older brothers, Philip, Jim and Shane, sisters Cesca, Marian, Roisin, Taragh, Madeleina and Aine, their wives, husbands and partners - Michael, Margaret, Anne, Jenny, Ray, Adrian, John and Gary, his nieces, nephews and cousins, his aunts and uncles are all completely heartbroken. The only comfort is that he is joining his beloved dad Philip and brother Austin. We are also so grateful for everything that people are doing to support the Clan.

There is a tribe gathering to arrange his humanist ceremony and burial in Dublin for this weekend. We are bringing Tony home and once confirmed, full details will be posted here. In the meantime, may we ask that you share any pictures, stories and Tony memories you have with any member of Tony's family. That would mean so much to us all.

Much love

The Clan.

Tony is now home with the Clan. We would like to give all those who want to see him and to celebrate his life the opportunity to do so. He will be at the family home in Swords and everyone is welcome to see him on Saturday from 3pm to 6pm. We will be holding a celebration of his life on Sunday the 17th of April at midday at a beautiful and appropriate location in Donabate. All are welcome to this celebration, if you make your way to Jones garden centre, there will be signs to show you the way, alternatively the Sat Nav coordinates are 53.473877, - 6.187257. We will be outdoors and would ask that you dress as comfortably as you would like and as Tony would love - flat shoes and warm clothes are a must. Please carpool, if possible. Family flowers only please, in lieu of flowers, if you would like to, we would love if donations went to the Kevin Bell Foundation, who helped to bring Tony home. Donation box on site or www.kevinbellrepatriationtrust.com

There will be a private family burial afterwards.
