McHUGH, Tony, (Glenageary, Co. Dublin, late of Athy, Co. Kildare and formerly of RTÉ) January 29th, 2026, peacefully and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Margo, he will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter Mairéad, sons Cathal, Darach and Fergal, grandchildren Eóin, Patrick, Florence and Rosa, brother Martin, sisters Geraldine, Sinead and Mary, daughter-in-law Laura, son-in-law Darren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his late brother Paul.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Quinns Funeral Home of Glasthule on Monday afternoon (February 2nd) from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (February 3rd), to Our Lady of Good Counsel, Johnstown/Killiney Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by a committal service in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
