The death has occurred of Tony Meade, Lisnabuntry, Virginia, Co.Cavan, 23 February 2026, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents James and Marie(Morgan)and his brother Donal. Deeply regretted by his brother John, his sisters-in-law Marie-Thérèse and Eithne, his nieces Constanza, Sofia, and Kiera and his nephew Rory. Tony will be missed by his family, cousins and friends.

Reposing in Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58), this Saturday 28 February 2026 from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass this Sunday 1 March 2026 at 11 am in St Mary’s Church, Cross, County Cavan (A82CK73) followed by burial in Raffoney Cemetery.
