Tony Tierney
The death has occurred of Tony Tierney, Baurnagurtheney, Oughterard, Co. Galway, on the 28th of August 2023. Passed away peacefully at UHG surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Stephen John, his mother Nora and his sister Mary. Deeply regretted by his sister Patty (O’Toole), brothers John and Peter, brother in law John Joe, his aunts, especially Barbara Ann Moore and her family, uncles, his nieces and nephews, Marie, John, Kevin and Ruth, his extended family and many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Oughterard (H91 EV52), Wednesday, the 30th of August, from 5pm with removal at 7pm to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday, the 31st of August. Burial afterwards in Glann Cemetery, Oughterard.
