(née Maleady)

BYRNE, Una (née Maleady) late of Rathfarnham, and formerly of Goatstown, passed away peacefully at home on the 20th of December 2025. Beloved wife of the late Bernard and loving mother of Brendan, Donna, Leo and Jason. Predeceased by her siblings Liam and Ann; Una will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, Brendan’s wife Tracy, Jason’s partner Coriey, her cherished grandchildren Amy, Emma, Michael, Liam, Jason, Cian, and Rose, and great-grandson Leighton, her brother Podge, sisters Dee (Deirdre) and Peggy and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Una will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Tuesday (December 23rd) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday (December 24th) to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, arriving for a 2.30pm Funeral Service.
