Una COONEY
(née Kerins)

Una Cooney, (née Kerins), Teevnacreeva, Tibohine, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Ranaghan, Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo – September 18th, 2020, aged 95, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Michael and her son Michael James, Una will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Seán, Brendan, Finola, Gerard, Marie Thérèse, Angelina and Barry, daughters-in-law Cáit, Monica, Bridie, Mary and Pamela, son-in-law Micheál, her eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Una’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Removal from her home to St. Baoithin’s Church, Tibohine, on Monday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon.  Burial afterwards in Tibohine New Cemetery. Una’s funeral Mass will be live streamed through ‘Mahon Funeral Directors’ Facebook page and can be viewed HERE.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, Una’s funeral will be private to family only please. A memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be offered at a later date. Una’s family would like to thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.
