Una Dwyer (née O’Connell) Old Quarter, Ballincollig, Co. Cork (Formerly of Ballintemple and Cloghroe)

Una bore her illness with strength, warmth and good humour, passing peacefully at Marymount Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her beloved children Rory, Orla, Sarah and Cliona, her cherished grandchild Teddi Miller, sons-in-law Julian Sherry Brennan and John Miller, daughter-in-law Manisone Saphakdg, brothers Barry and Der O'Connell, sisters Mary Stott and Pat McKenna, and their partners, the extended Dwyer family, and her many friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband Ted Dwyer and Sister Hilary.

Una will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and laughter. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers of Marymount Hospice for their extraordinary kind and loving care from them and the fantastic teams in IMNDA care support, Ballincollig Community Care and Westfield, we will be forever thankful.

Reposing at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig, on Thursday evening (18th December) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for visitation.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 1:00pm in Christ Our Light Church, Ballincollig, followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, for family and friends.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice OR IMND Association.

The family would greatly appreciate receiving any written memories at the service or visitation about Una, as she wished that there is no traditional eulogy.
