The death has occurred of Una McEntee (née Smyth). Patrician Drive, Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross. 18 August 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Predeceased by her parents Michael & Agnes and recently by her sister Mary Cadden.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her beloved husband Tom, her daughters Adrienne (Art McArdle) & Marguerite (Johnny Connolly) and her sons Ian (Isavella), Michael, Patrick & Kevin (Lyndsey), her much loved grandchildren; Faolán, Cormac, Arthur, Lyra, Féilim, Yanna, Madalena, Grace, Ava, Matthew, Zoey & Charlie, her sisters Eilish (Jimmy McHugh), Kathleen (Coyle, USA), Teresa (Joe Dowling), Bernadette (David Hannon), Monica (Connolly) & Margaret (Page) & her brothers Liam (Geraldine), Phelim, (USA) & Brendan (Cathy, USA), her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Una will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Saturday, 19th August, from 2pm until 5pm. Una's funeral cortége will leave the funeral home on Sunday, 20th August, proceeding on foot, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross. arriving at 11:50am. Una's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Ballybay.
