Una Nagle
(née Nolan)
Una Nagle (née Nolan) of Upper Lacknalooha, Mallow, formerly of Monard and Rearcross, Co. Tipperary,
who passed away peacefully on January 15th 2026, surrounded by her family.
Una, was the loving wife of the late Finbarr, a much loved and wonderful mother to John, Malachy and Siobhán (Roche) and an adored grandmother to Katie, Joey, Barry, Shauna and Gavin. She is reunited now with her beloved husband Finbarr, her brothers Eddie, Donie and Malachy and her sisters Nancy (Hayes) and Mary (Fanning).
She leaves behind many people who loved her dearly, her sisters Phil (Buckley) and Tess (Mac Giola Ri), son-in-law Pat Roche, daughter-in-law Eileen (née Curtin), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, extended family and many friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Una will be reposing at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, St. James’ Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Saturday (January 17th) from 6pm with Prayers at 7.30pm.
Her Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (January 19th) at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Mallow, and will be available to view at
Burial afterwards in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Mallow.
Una’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful carers at Bluebird Care, The Red House Family Practice, Peter Weedle Pharmacy and to Orla for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Mam in recent times and to Ann Higgins and the staff of Mallow General Hospital for their support and the wonderful care shown to Mam in her final days.
