Una Walsh

Friars Hill, Galway and formerly of Saint Antonio Terrace and Olde Malt House, High Street. On 1 October 2024, Una passed away peacefully at An Teaghlach Uilinn Nursing home, Moycullen, after a short stay. Predeceased by her parents Ned and Mabel, and her brothers Mícheál and Paddy. Sadly missed by her sisters Ann Bailey (Cork), Mabel Cahill (Galway), Mary Moore (Dundalk) and Patricia Piggot (Wicklow) and brother Eamon Walsh (Canada).

 

Lovingly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Shem, cousins, wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends, especially those in the Irish Bridge community.

 

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Friday 4 October from 4:30pm - 6:30 pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Una on Saturday 5 October 2024, on arrival to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway at 11:00 am. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
