The death has occurred of Ursula Cronin (née McElroy)

Late of Frankfort Park, Dundrum

November 16th 2025

peacefully at Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Jeremiah (Jerry), her parents James and Margaret, her brother George, and her sisters Peggy and Dolores.

 

Ursula, loving mother of Damian, Garrett, John, Elizabeth and Anne. Sadly missed by her children, daughters-in-law Wendy, Susan and Daphne, sons-in-law Matt and Niall. Devoted grandmother to Sean, Andrew, Robert, Isabelle, Megan, Michael, Olivia, James, Simon, Martha, Malachí, Maddie, Emily, Shauna and Molly, and great-grandmother to Niamh and Clara, her sister-in-law Annette and fondly remembered by her nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Ursula will be reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 5–6 Lower Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14 (D14 F3X2) on Friday, November 21st, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

 

Complimentary car parking is available at the old Dundrum Shopping Centre (Lidl) car park - entrance on Dundrum Village Main Street (not Dundrum Town Centre Car Park). Tickets to exit car park, free of charge, available on request at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum.

 

Funeral Mass at 10.30am. on Saturday, November 22nd in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum followed by a Cremation at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.
