Val Collins

COLLINS (Bishopstown, Cork) : On September 5th, 2024, peacefully at home in his 92nd year, in the excellent care of Dr. Ger Dineen of Rahona House, Hawkes Road, Marymount Hospital and Hospice and Carers Liz, Danny and Margie, VAL, beloved husband of the late Maeve (née Ovens) Collins.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving family Fiona, Valerie, Michael, Georgina, David and Leone, sister-in-law Maureen Ovens, grandchildren James, Jourdan, Finbar, Aislinn, Maeve, Fiona, Adam, Troy and Jack, daughters-in-law Susan and Trisha, sons-in-law Tim and Paul, relatives, neighbors and a wide circle of friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd., on Friday (September 6th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (September 7th) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen which can be viewed here.

Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
