Val HUNT

Val died peacefully at Claremount Nursing Home. Predeceased by his brother Martin. Sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Brid, sons John, Paul, Colm and Alan, daughters Mary, Ann, Carmel and Joan, grandchildren Megan, Oisin, Leah and Jack, Lauren and Shaun, Gráinne, Seán and Diarmuid, Shane and Conor, sons-in-law Seán and Joe, daughters-in-law Fiona, Caitriona and Jenni, brothers Billy and Luke, sisters Maureen, Ethna, Dympna and Patsy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

May Val Rest in Peace

Val’s funeral cortege will arrive for Funeral Mass at 2p.m. in St Colman’s Church, Claremorris on Wednesday, 13th January, with removal afterwards for burial in Ballinasmalla Cemetery (via the Old Knock road). House is strictly confined to Family only due to current restrictions.

Due to current Government best practice guidelines, the funeral is for family members only, (maximum of 10 people only in the church). Please observe social distancing at all times while the funeral cortege is on its route.

His funeral Mass can be viewed on Youtube, Claremorris Church live and will be also relayed on the local Parish Church radio on 106FM.
