JEFFERS Val; (Cabinteely, Co. Dublin and formerly of Co. Mayo) – January 17th 2026, passed peacefully surrounded by love at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents and siblings, his cherished wife Mary, partner Agnes, son Paul and grandsons Tony and Duane. Dearly beloved father of Marion, grandfather of Amy, Sean, Steven, Lucas, David and Wayne, great-granda of Archie-Dean and Ezra, father-in-law of David, Elaine and Nicola. He will be sadly missed by the Quinn and Sammon families, nieces, nephew and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Tuesday (Jan 20th) from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Wednesday (Jan 21st) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
