Val Johnson

Val Johnson (John Valentine), Emmet Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully on March 2nd, 2024, in the wonderful care of Eliza Lodge, Banagher, having celebrated his 96th birthday on February 28th.

Predeceased by his wife Audrey and his nine siblings.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter Hilda (UK), his sons; David (UK), Philip (Scotland), Richard (Dublin), Paul (Birr) and Roy (Galway), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his fifteen grandchildren and his great-grandson, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church of Ireland, Birr, on Tuesday at 6pm.
Funeral Service on Wednesday at 2pm. Followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
