The death has occurred of
VAL (Lilian) CASHMAN
(née O'Farrell)
Val Cashman (Lilian née O’Farrell) Middle Road, Whitegate and formerly of Clifden, Co. Galway. On February 21st 2022 peacefully in the exceptional care of all the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Community Hospital, Midleton. Beloved wife of the late Billy, loving mother of Jim, Billy, Yvonne (Aylward), Barry, Ray and her late infant son David, much loved Nana of Aaron, Zoë, Lorna, Barry, Evan, Olivia, Finbarr, Ellen, Liam, Caédan, Síofra, Kya and the late Keelan, proud great-grandmother of Rhys and Fionn. Sadly missed also by her brother Oliver, daughters in law, son in law, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Anyone attending a funeral is reminded to adhere to continuing Covid-19 guidance and mask wearing, indoors especially. Handshaking is a personal choice for each family.
Val will repose for family and friends on Wednesday 23rd from 5pm-7pm in Hyde’s Funeral Home, Midleton.
Val will leave from her son Jim’s residence, Middle Road, on Friday 25th at 10.15am approx, pausing at her home and travelling onwards to St. Erasmus Church, Aghada, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Whitegate.
