Valentine (Val, Nokie) BREEN

BREEN (Killiney and formerly of St. Fintan’s Park, Deansgrange, Co. Dublin) – October 25th 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Val (Nokie); dearly beloved husband of the late Susan (Dodie), much loved and adored father of Linda and Aisling, father-in-law of the late Ray and recently predeceased by his brother Ter (Nicko). He will be very sadly missed by his loving daughters, son-in-law John, grandchildren Damien, Danielle, Josh and Max, great-grandchildren Katie, Lexie, Jacob, Ellie and Ryan, his brothers Des and Pat, sisters Pauline and Emily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Wednesday (Oct 29th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Oct 30th) to St. Stephen’s Church, Killiney arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
