Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of all at Cork University Hospital. Beloved wife of Peter and much-loved mother of Verna, Helena, Peter, Tara, Greg, and the late Louise. and sister of the late Roger. Valerie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, daughters, brothers, grandchildren Caoimhe and her partner Sean, Maebh, Cian, Dáithí, Cathal, Tadhg and Ella, sons in law Chris, Philip and Walter, daughters in law Eileen and Niamh, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Valerie will repose at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Thursday, September 19th, from 5pm with prayers at 6.30 pm.Removal from her home 47 Russell Heights on Friday, September 20th, at 11.30am to St. Colman's Cathedral for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on mcn.camera/st-colmans
