Valerie HAYES
(née Nugent)
Valerie Hayes (née Nugent) of Delgany, Greystones, Co. Wicklow – 14th February 1948 – 28th June 2017. My lovely Valerie completed her life journey at 1pm, Wednesday, 28th June, at home, surrounded by our loving children Samantha, Victoria, Byron and Lydia, and following an aggressive cancer illness. Her death is deeply regretted by her husband Frank, children and grandchildren Sophie and Leila, her brothers, sisters, sister in-law, and extended family and a wide circle of friends, political comrades and associates.
She will repose at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, Co Wicklow on Saturday, 1st July, 3pm to 5pm. A Humanist Service In Celebration of a Life Completed will take place at Colliers Funeral Home on Sunday, 2nd July at 3pm. This will be followed immediately by a reception in honour of Valerie’s life, work and friendship, at The Esplanade Hotel, Strand Road, Bray at 5pm. House private. Family flowers only please.
