The death has occurred unexpectedly of Valerie Lavelle, Cashel, Achill, surrounded by her loving family on Friday 21st November 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Ted and Celia, sister Mary, brothers Teddy and Frank and nephew Finbar.

Valerie will be dearly missed by her sisters Celine, Anne (Tullamore) and Nora (USA), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, all her extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Valerie will repose at Lavelle’s Funeral Home (F28 Y0H9) Cashel, Achill on Monday 24th November from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from her sisters residence Tuesday morning to St Joseph’s Church, Bunnacurry for requiem mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Bunnacurry cemetery.
