O’Kane (née McCarren), Valerie, 8th February 2026, Rathdown Avenue, Terenure (Formerly of Cavan town), peacefully in the wonderful care of Leeson Park Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Valerie is predeceased by her husband Cian and sister Sheila.

She will be forever loved by her sons Barra, Cian, Donal and John, her brother Andrew and sister Lorraine, daughters-in-law Jacqui and Marian, her sister-in-law Joy and brother-in-law Denis. Sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Matthew, Louise, Neil, Sean and Barry, her great grandchildren Farrell and Farrah, nieces and nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.

May Valerie Rest in Peace.

Valerie’s Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of Saint Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at 2.30 pm followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross at 4pm.
