Smyth (née Peters) Valerie, Logstown, Valleymount, Co. Wicklow, 15th April 2021. Loving wife of the late Matthew and mother of Susan, Patricia, Sharon, Katrina, Helen and Mark. Will be dearly missed by Paddy, her family, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Funeral to St. Joseph’s Church, Valleymount, on Monday arriving for 3.00 Funeral Mass followed by burial in Baltyboys Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but if so desired, please donate to The Irish Cancer Society.

Given the exceptional climate and to protect everyone who knew Valerie, the funeral will be private for family only (10 persons). Those who would have liked to attend Valerie’s funeral, but due to these restrictions cannot, may leave a personal message for the family on the condolence page below.

The family thank you for your co-operation and support during this sensitive time. We would like to thank the medical staff of St. James Hospital for their care and attention and their support to the family.
