Valerie Stringer
(née Carey)
The sad passing has taken place of Valerie Stringer (née Carey). Valerie passed peacefully January 26th 2026 in the tender care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice Raheny, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Frank and much-loved mother of Mark, Hazel, Frances, and Caren. Valerie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her devoted husband, her adoring children, and her cherished grandchildren Heather, Jack, Issac, Isabel, Rowan, Amy, Adam, Harvey and Robyn. She is also mourned by her daughter-in-law Emer, and sons-in-law John, Declan and Ken. Alongside her sisters and brothers, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home Wednesday January 28th from 5pm until 7pm. House private at all other times please.
Funeral mass on Friday the 30th of January at 10am in Raheny Parish Church (Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace), followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Cemetery.
