Valerie TOWNSEND
(née Byrne)
Valerie Townsend (née Byrne) of “Ashlee”, Linkardstown, Tinryland and formerly of Pearse Rd., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 3th, 2024, at her home.
Beloved wife of Eddie, much loved mother of Cillian, Darragh, Colin and Emmet, cherished sister of Marian, Patricia, Niall, Ronan and the late baby Irene Angela and adored daughter of the late John and Eileen.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, her son’s partners Kerry, Emma, Natasha and Rachel, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) on Wednesday, June 5th, from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
