TYRRELL (Mahon, Cork): On June 24th 2023, peacefully in the presence  of her loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital, VALERIE (née Nation) St. Michael’s Close, beloved wife of the late Robert and much loved mother of Katie-Ann and dear sister of Miriam, Tricia, Stephen, Tim and Michael.

Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, long-time friends Claire and Peter Murphy, neighbours Catherine and the Gosnell family and her pet dog Noddy.

Reposing at her sister Tricia’s house on Castle Road T12XR5P on Monday (June 26th) from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Tuesday (June 27th) in St Michael’s Church, Blackrock which can be viewed here,  Followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork which can be viewed here.
